Frederik Andersen Pulled Again In Leafs' 8-4 Loss
5 years agoVeteran netminder Frederik Andersen allowed four goals on 12 shots and was yanked in the Maple Leafs’ 8-4 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. It was his second rough start in three games, and he’s allowed 10 goals in those three appearances. Andersen remains a must-start goalie due to his 21 wins in 36 games (Only two goalies have more) but both his save percentage and his GAA are underwhelming fantasy numbers. On the plus side from this game, Zach Hyman had a goal and two assists. He had previously been in a slump with just one point in six games. He now has 19 points in 27 games after missing time due to injury. Mitch Marner chipped in two goals to give him 13 in 35 games. Overall, the playmaker has 44 points. Toronto has now lost three games in a row after previously going on a 9-1 stretch. During those three games, they’ve been outscored 18-11.
