7 years agoMLB Network's Jon Morosi reports that free-agent second baseman Brandon Phillips "has a strong desire to continue playing at age 36." Last season with the Braves and Angels, Phillips had 13 home runs and 11 steals with a .285 average and .735 on-base plus slugging percentage. He's averaged 12 HRs and 16 steals with a .290 batting average over the last three years, and if he can latch on with another team, he could provide value in 12-team or deeper leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
