Further Tests Confirm Logan Thomas Suffered A Torn ACL
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas (knee) underwent further tests, which officially revealed a torn ACL as the team initially feared. He is expected to undergo surgery and return in time for the 2022 season. Last Wednesday, the 30-year-old was placed on injured reserve, ruling him out for the season. Thomas finishes the year with 18 catches for 196 yards and three touchdowns over six games. The Washington tight end will look to recover ahead of the 2022 season. Ricky Seals-Jones will be Washington's primary tight end while Thomas is sidelined. Seals-Jones caught one pass for eight yards on four targets in the Week 14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The 26-year-old can be used as a streamer in Week 15 against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that struggled against tight ends this season.
