6 years agoColorado Avalanche left wing Gabriel Landeskog stayed red hot in Saturday's 3-1 win at Carolina, picking up an even-strength goal in the first period and a power-play marker in the second. He has managed seven goals through eight games this season, tied for third-most in the National Hockey League. Six of the goals have come across the past three outings. He is currently on pace for 103 points, a level of play he isn't likely to sustain. However, he has a very good chance to eclipse his career bests of 26 goals and 65 points set back during the 2013-14 campaign.--Daniel Dobish
