3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catching prospect Gabriel Moreno belted a two-run double for Triple-A Buffalo on Friday, going 1-for-4 in the contest with a walk. Moreno, the seventh-ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline and top-ranked Blue Jays prospect, is off to a hot start in 2022. He carries a .429/.467/.500 slash line with six hits over 14 at-bats and five RBI. Though he has not yet homered in 2022, the season is young. Moreno has 24 career minor league HR over 738 AB with a .310 lifetime batting average. Moreno has plus power and batting average capabilities and could make his debut in Toronto later this season.
