3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew could be a trade possibility for the Carolina Panthers after they made a run at him last year. The Panthers are going back to the drawing board for a QB after they were informed that they are out of the running for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Minshew would be nothing more than a quick fix and not much of an upgrade on Sam Darnold, who went 4-7 as a starter in 2021 before getting injured. Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick are available on the open market and would be upgrades over Darnold. Minshew looked good in two starts for the Eagles last year, but at best, he'd be giving Darnold competition for the starting job in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
