5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew's preseason debut didn't go the way he was hoping. The rookie was 7-for-14 throwing the ball for 46 yards. He didn't throw a touchdown or an interception. Minshew also added three rushing yards on two carries. It wasn't a great performance, but it did surpass that of his competition for the team's backup job. Alex McGough was 3-for-8 with 19 yards and a pick, while Tanner Lee was 0-for-3 with an interception. It's safe to say Minshew is Jacksonville's QB2 this year, though even a Nick Foles injury wouldn't propel him to fantasy relevance.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
