3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew II took all of the available first-team snaps in Friday's practice. Minshew started out camp splitting first-team reps with prized rookie QB Trevor Lawrence, but Lawrence had begun to dominate first-team work up until Friday. At this point, it appears that the team is prioritizing making Minshew feel as though he's still in contention for the starting job, but those around the team doubt that's actually the case. Minshew would be one of the league's premier backups should Lawrence win the job like most expect. Minshew should only be drafted late in superflex formats, though it's not totally out of the question that he could start for another team if the Jaguars opt to deal him to a team dealing with QB injuries.--Casey Kamholz
