5 years agoThe three-way battle for the Jacksonville Jaguars' backup quarterback job between rookie Gardner Minshew, Tanner Lee, and Alex McGough appears to have been won by Minshew. Phillip Heilman of The Athletic reports that Lee and McGough were practicing kickoff coverage in Tuesday's training camp practice, with Minshew leading the second-team offense. Nick Foles has a firm lock on the starting quarterback role, but Minshew was an exciting college player and is worth a roster spot in dynasty leagues in case the Foles era in Jacksonville doesn't go as planned.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
