4 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper (back) will play in rehab games this week, and if all goes well, he could be activated for the weekend series. Cooper hasn't played since June 7 but will return to a .248/.326/.394 slash line. He was off to a slow start offensively, but he was starting to put together a much stronger season before his injury. The Marlins are hoping he'll return to the lineup without missing a beat in his swing. His playing time might be an issue for fantasy managers, though, as the Marlins seem to have settled with an outfield of Jesus Sanchez, Starling Marte and Adam Duvall.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
