2 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper was placed on the IL Saturday without designation. We know by now that this usually means it is COVID related. Cooper will be out until he clears league protocols. The timing could not be worse for Cooper, who has been scorching hot at the dish, with a .472/.513/.667 slash line in June. He has been a hot waiver wire pickup lately, and with how he's hitting he should be rostered in most leagues, even with this trip to the IL.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
