Garrett Cooper Hits Grand Slam In Win
6 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Garrett Cooper homered once again, drilling a 417-foot grand slam to left off of Detroit Tigers reliever Shane Greene on Thursday. It was another efficient outing for the up-and-comer who just recently hit his first big league home run on Wednesday night. Though he has struggled up until this point, especially at the plate where he has struck out at least once in all but two games this season, he is worth keeping an eye on moving forward if he can sustain this level of productivity. With the Marlins having now won their last six in a row, Cooper and company will look to keep it going on Friday night against Nationals Pitcher Kyle McGowin.
