Garrett Cooper Scuffling At The Plate
2 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper went hitless in Friday's 2-1 loss against the Chicago Cubs, going 0-for-4 with a walk. He's in a terrible slump, hitting .082 with 17 strikeouts over his last 15 games. Across 86 games this season, Cooper's been productive, slashing .275/.344/.422 with seven home runs, 42 RBI, and 28 runs. The 31-year-old can be dropped in standard leagues, but he still has relevance in deeper leagues, even as just a bench bat.
