Garrett Gilbert Listed As QB2 In Dallas

3 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Garrett Gilbert was listed as the QB2 on the Cowboys unofficial depth chart released on Tuesday. Dak Prescott is QB1 of course, but Garrett seems like the favorite to work as his backup. Ben DiNucci and Cooper Rush were listed third and fourth on the depth chart. With Prescott returning from a serious ankle injury and already dealing with a shoulder injury in camp, the Cowboys backup quarterback could be forced to do more than just hold a clipboard this season. Gilbert started in Week 9 last season, completing 21 of his 38 pass attempts for 243 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The Cowboys season will immediately be in jeopardy if Prescott is forced to miss extended time.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
