3 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Garrett Gilbert completed 20-of-31 passes for 194 yards in Tuesday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It could have been much worse for Gilbert making his first start of the year, but all things considered, it was a pretty solid showing considering the circumstances. He was able to play a turnover-free ball game and gave Washington a chance to win. Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen should be back in time for Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, so Gilbert will likely be relegated back to the No. 3 role on the depth chart upon their eventual return to action.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
