Garrett Hampson Called Up To Triple-A
7 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop and No. 8 ranked prospect Garrett Hampson has been called up from Double-A Hartford to Triple-A Albuquerque. Currently in Double-A, Hampson is hitting .304 with an .857 OPS in 172 plate appearances and will make the Triple-A level for the first time in his professional career. Hampson is behind Brendan Rodgers, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Vilade in terms of infielder prospects, so he's got a lot of work to do to get himself up on the roster. He holds no redraft value for now, but he's one to keep an eye on in keeper formats.
