3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Garrett Hampson went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, a walk, a stolen base, and two strikeouts in a 9-4 win over the D-Backs on Friday. Hampson had a nice little day at the dish, putting the Rockies on the board in the top of the second inning with a two-run homer. He would reach base again with a walk, swipe his 15th bag of the season, and score another run later in the game. The 26-year-old speed demon has been struggling over the last month so there's a good chance many fantasy managers weren't starting him, let alone rostering him, for Friday's big game. On the year, he's batting .238 with a .672 OPS, seven home runs, 23 RBI, and 15 stolen bases over 353 at-bats.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
