4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Garrett Richards managed just two outs Thursday against the Seattle Mariners, getting hammered for six earned runs. Richards allowed six of the first eight batters to reach base, ultimately serving up a grand slam and subsequent home run before being pulled. Thursday’s debacle was Richards’ second consecutive clunker after he completed just two frames in his prior outing. The 32-year-old stares at a disappointing 5.17 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 7.2 K/9 through seven starts. At best, he’s a matchup-based fantasy streamer until he shows some consistency.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
