4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Garrett Richards scuffled through five innings Wednesday, yielding four earned runs in a loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Richards allotted five knocks and a walk while striking out four. After a stellar debut on July 26, Richards has struggled for two consecutive starts and stares at a 4.60 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with a 9.2 K/9. Even without pitch restrictions, the 32-year-old has yet to complete six frames. He’ll have an opportunity to rematch the Dodgers next week at Chavez Ravine.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
