3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Garrett Richards earned his sixth win of the season Wednesday, allowing four runs on four hits and a walk to the Toronto Blue Jays in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five batters. Richards was one out away from his first quality start since June 1 before he allowed two of his three home runs to knock him out of the game. Richards remains a very risky fantasy play with a 4.99 ERA and 1.63 WHIP on the year, even more so since he had to remake his pitch mix following the new rules on foreign substances.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
