The righty struck out a season-high nine while yielding seven hits with no walks. Richards has endured an inconsistent season, possessing a 4.50 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 7.9 K/9 through 42 frames (nine starts). While he’s amassed three quality starts, he’s also had three outings with at least four earned runs.
