Garrett Richards Knocked Out After Four Innings
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Garrett Richards allowed six runs Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves, four of which were earned. He lasted just four innings and gave up seven hits and a walk in four innings in an outing where his spin rates were noticeably down. He did strike out three batters. With a 1.61 WHIP for the year, the baserunners were bound to start coming around to score at some point, and his ERA figures to rise even past its current 4.36 figure. Fantasy managers might want to try to move Richards now if they still can.
