6 years agoLos Angeles Angels right-hander Garrett Richards (hamstring) will throw off a mound next Monday and again on Wednesday. He hopes to make a rehab start next weekend and return to the rotation the following week. Richards has been on the DL since June 15 with a hamstring strain. Prior to that, Richards had a 3.42 ERA on the year with a 1.28 WHIP and a 10.3 K/9. Fantasy owners should hold for now, as it sounds like the right-hander will be back in short order.--patton
