4 years agoBoston Red Sox reliever Garrett Whitlock continued to impress in his rookie season, throwing two perfect innings in the Red Sox's 7-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. Whitlock has now struck out eight and walked none over 5 1/3 scoreless innings, overwhelming hitters with his power sinker/changeup combination. With all of the talented arms in the Red Sox's bullpen, it will be hard for Whitlock to work his way into high-leverage innings, but his performance so far this season should catch the attention of fantasy managers looking for relievers on the waiver wire.--Daniel Fox
