4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez exited Tuesday night's game with an apparent lower body injury, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. Hoch reports that Sanchez appeared to be flexing his lower half between innings, while adding that Sanchez has a history with groin issues. Sanchez was 1-for-3 with a double, one RBI and a run scored on the night before being replaced on defense by Kyle Higashioka in the bottom of the sixth inning. It's been a rough season for Sanchez, who was slashing .185/.324/.370 with five home runs, 10 RBI and 11 runs scored over 28 games this year. Now managers will wait to see if this is a day-to-day issue or something longer term.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
