4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez clubbed his fourth homer of the season in Tuesday's victory over Tampa Bay. Sanchez took a low-and-away sinker from Rays' reliever Josh Fleming the opposite way towards right for his second long-ball in three games. The 28-year-old backstop seems to be in more of an even split with backup Kyle Higashioka for playing time, though he can get hot with the bat at any moment, which would likely give him the edge over Higashioka. However, expect Sanchez to take a seat on the bench Wednesday with Gerrit Cole slated to start.--Tim Capurso
