3 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Sanchez rapped a pair of singles for his second multi-hit game in the last four contests. Despite the strong effort, his batting average still stands at a paltry .202- and the expected metrics don't point to a sudden sharp increase in that department. Sanchez is still hitting the ball hard and should remain a source of power at the catcher spot, though category fantasy managers need to be able to stomach the hit in average.--Tim Capurso
