4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez is getting a breather on Friday as the team squares off against Red Sox right-hander Ryan Weber. Kyle Higashioka will start behind the plate for the Bronx Bombers and bat ninth. Sanchez is off to an 0-for-15 start with 10 strikeouts this season and has only reached base once via a hit-by-pitch. The slugger may need an extra day to get his swing right, but he should return to producing tremendous power numbers this season. Owners will have to remain patient with the two-time All-Star.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
