Gavin Lux Hits Grand Slam In Victory
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's victory versus the San Francisco Giants. Lux was originally slated to bat fifth, but moved to the leadoff spot with outfielder Mookie Betts (shoulder) being scratched. Lux has been given an everyday opportunity this season and he struggled in April, but the bat has come alive in May. Lux is now hitting .324 in the month of may with three home runs and 16 RBI. He has switched from his role as the Dodgers second baseman to become the primary shortstop with Corey Seager (hand) sidelined and the versatility only adds to his value. Lux should be owned in all formats.
