Gavin Lux Optioned To Triple-A
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux and infielder/outfielder Matt Beaty were to optioned Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday. Mookie Betts was activated from the 10-day injured list, and pitcher Darien Nunez was recalled in corresponding moves. Lux sat the bench for five straight games and made a pinch-hitting appearance in the previous contest. The 23-year-old hasn't produced at the plate this season. He slashed .221/.302/.340 with six home runs, 37 RBI, 39 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 85 games before being optioned. Lux didn't have a clear path for regular at-bats. Chris Taylor, Trea Turner, and Corey Seager were locked in at second, shortstop, and third base. Fantasy managers in dynasty leagues should continue to stash Lux, but it's time to move on in redraft formats.
