4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers second baseman Gavin Lux still isn’t ready for the MLB season from a mechanical perspective, according to manager Dave Roberts. Lux was surprisingly sent to the team’s alternate site to start the season after posting an OPS north of 1.000 in the minor leagues last season, but the Dodgers feel that the 22-year-old needs to improve his mechanics before rejoining the major league roster. Martinez is encouraged by Lux’s progress so far, but the Dodgers have no public timeline for Lux to be called back up. With impressive plate discipline and power, Lux should be on the radar of fantasy players when he does get called up.--Sam Chinitz
