6 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Geoff Swaim (knee) and right guard Zack Martin (knee) have both been diagnosed with sprained MCLs. The good news is that the Cowboys are on bye in Week 8, but MCL sprains typically can cost a player anywhere from two to four weeks of missed time. That means that both Swaim and Martin might not be ready to return in Week 9. With Swaim likely to miss a game or two, the Cowboys will use some combination of Blake Jarwin, Rico Gathers and rookie Dalton Schultz. They can all be avoided in fantasy, especially with Dallas adding receiver Amari Cooper via a trade.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
