5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle cradled six of eight targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. He also handled a rush for 18 yards. Kittle broke tackles for first downs all evening and finally cashed in with a 22-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Even with the Niners passing for just 181 yards, Kittle led the team in all receiving metrics and had his best game of the year. Kittle’s underlying usage rates have been strong all season so it was just a matter of time before the stats caught up.
