George Kittle To Be Game-Time Call
2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (groin) is expected to be a game-time decision in Week 2 against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. "With a player like George, you wait right up until game time. . . . We'll hold out hope that George is ready," general manager John Lynch. Kittle suffered a groin injury last Monday and hasn't practiced since while also sitting out the Week 1 loss to the Chicago Bears. Fantasy managers should have already made plans to be without the 28-year-old for the second straight week. Tyler Kroft played 55 percent of the snaps last week in Kittle's absence, but he only caught one pass for nine yards. Making things more difficult for Kittle's managers is the fact that the Niners don't play an early game on Sunday.
