6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer popped his 11th home run of the season Monday night against the Royals. Springer got a rare start at designated hitter and went 2-for-5 in the game and now is slashing .346/.400/.769 over his last seven games with three home runs and seven runs batted in. He currently leads the team with 29 runs batted in, thanks to his .742 slugging percentage with runners in scoring position.
