3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (ankle) is showing improvement after exiting Saturday's game early, according to Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic. Springer had tweaked his ankle in the outfield on Saturday, and according to manager Charlie Montoyo he will receive treatment on his ankle during the team's off-day Monday, and they'll see how he's feeling on Tuesday. This is good news for managers, as it doesn't appear to be a serious issue that will keep Springer out for a lengthy amount of time. Consider him day-to-day for now, and keep an eye out on the lineup for Tuesday's series opener with the Nationals.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
