4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer is rounding into shape with the playoffs right around the corner. In the month of September, Springer is slashing an impressive .319/.380/.659 with nine home runs and 14 runs batted in. After a rough start to his season, Springer has bounced back nicely, posting a .598 slugging percentage over his last 117 at-bats. The slugger has been especially dangerous away from Minute Maid Park, posting a .999 OPS with five doubles, eight home runs and 23 runs batted in through 25 road games.
