4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer is not in the starting lineup on Monday night, according to Rob Langley of the Toronto Sun. Manager Charlie Montoyo said that Springer's night off was planned in advance and that there is no injury issue related to his absence from the lineup. Springer dealt with oblique and quad injuries to open the 2021 campaign, and in his first four games back. Springer is 3-for-15 with two home runs, one steal, three RBI and three runs scored.
