6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer has officially bounced back from a dismal month of July and currently has hits in seven of his last nine games. He is 11-for-33 (.333) during that span with one home run, two doubles, four runs batted in and seven runs scored. Springer's numbers will not match up with his 2017 totals when the season is over but he appears to be back to his normal self at the plate. He is slugging .481 over his last 106 at-bats but continues to struggle against right-handed pitching. He is slashing .239/.330/.402 through 331 at-bats against righties this season, a far cry from his line of .277/.347/.513 in 2017. Springer will face Twins right-hander Jake Odorizzi Wednesday night.--Joey C - RotoBaller
