5 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer is on a power surge at the plate heading into the postseason that will begin Friday for the Astros. Springer smacked four home runs in his final seven regular season games and has 13 home runs over his last 107 at-bats. Now he will lead the charge at the top of a powerful Astros lineup, and Springer has been fantastic in postseason play in his career. In 32 career playoff games, the slugger has 10 doubles, 11 home runs, 20 runs batted in, 24 runs scored and an impressive 1.026 OPS.
