3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (quadriceps) started in center field and went 0-for-4 during his rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Buffalo. As expected, he played five innings in Tuesday's contest. The former Houston Astro has been sidelined since early May due to a right quadriceps strain. It's unclear how many games Springer will play during his rehab assignment, but expect the Blue Jays to be extra careful with their prized offseason acquisition.
