George Springer Hopes To Snap 0-For-16 Skid Against Blue Jays
7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer will look to snap an 0-for-16 funk Tuesday night when the team takes on the Blue Jays in Houston. The mini slump has dropped his average down to .265, but he still carries a .461 slugging percentage with 15 home runs on the season. The young slugger can be one of the streakiest hitters in the game and can go on a tear at any moment. Fantasy owners are hoping Springer can heat up at home in the next two games before the team embarks on a six-game road trip. In his last 415 at-bats over the past two seasons at Minute Maid Park, Springer has 25 home runs and a .494 slugging percentage.
