3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer came up clutch on Sunday, launching a no-doubt three-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth to propel his team past the Red Sox 9-8. His 442' blast off Matt Barnes was his 14th long ball of the season as he finished the game going 2-for-4 with a walk and four runs scored. Springer has been on a tear since the All-Star break with nine homers, a .360 BA, and a league-leading 25 runs scored. His early-season injuries have limited him to 43 games in 2021, but with his bat now in mid-season form, he'll provide fantasy teams with a massive boost the rest of the way.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
