3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer found the bleachers for his fourth home run of the season on Friday as his club went on to defeat the Rays 11-1. He got the scoring started in the first inning by taking Luis Patino deep for a two-run shot as he finished the contest going 1-for-3 with a walk. Springer has logged a hit in six of his last seven starts, which is laudable since he's missed most of the season with injuries and has faced opposing pitchers who are in midseason form. He sports just a .239 BA with eight runs and nine RBI through 13 games in 2021, but managers should expect him to hit like he normally does the rest of the way.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
