3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (quad) is nearing a return and is currently rehabbing in Triple-A Buffalo. Springer has been banged up all season long and has taken just 17 plate appearances with Toronto. On Sunday, manager Charlie Montoyo mentioned that Springer is likely going to bat fifth or sixth when he does return. The Jays like what they currently have going and aren't going to mess with that. Springer should slide up the batting order once he gets back into his groove at the plate. Fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if they see Springer batting lower in the order than normal when he does return.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
