George Springer Not Ready To Return
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (illness) remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox. Springer will miss his second straight game with a non-COVID illness, and fantasy managers should continue to consider him day-to-day. He remains a must-start when he's on the field, as he's hitting .277/.353/.518 with nine home runs, 26 RBI, 30 runs scored and two stolen bases in 46 games. Springer has gone 11-for-36 (.306) with two home runs and five RBI in the last 14 days as well. Bradley Zimmer is getting the nod in center field and will bat ninth on Thursday against White Sox right-hander Johnny Cueto. Zimmer represents a long shot in DFS, as he's gone 6-for-52 (.115) this year with one homer and one stolen base.
