George Springer Out Again Saturday
2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (elbow) remains out of the starting lineup on Saturday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Springer left the game early on Tuesday with left elbow pain, and he hasn't played since. For now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. The 32-year-old is an everyday player in fantasy when healthy, and hopefully he won't require a trip to the injured list and can return at some point this weekend. Raimel Tapia is getting another start in center field and will bat sixth on Saturday against Brewers right-hander Corbin Burnes. Tapia gives fantasy managers very modest production across the board, but he has gone 13-for-41 (.317) with a homer, five RBI and one stolen base in 11 games over the last two weeks for Toronto.
