7 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer will sit Sunday for the second day in a row with a left elbow contusion after being hit by a fastball Friday night. The Astros are hopeful that Springer will avoid a DL stint and can return to play Monday against the Angels, according to the Houston Chronicle. Springer has continued to be a top fantasy option this season, so avoiding a trip to the DL would be huge for fantasy owners.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
