3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer recorded an RBI groundout on Wednesday as his club went on to beat the Marlins 3-1. He would later walk and strikeout, finishing the day going 0-for-3 in his second game back from a quad strain. Springer has found himself batting fifth for the Jays since Marcus Semien has done a terrific job as the everyday leadoff man in his absence. With only six games under his belt in 2021, it's not really a surprise that the 31-year-old is hitting lower in the order since his bat will need to catch up to mid-season form. Springer should continue to see RBI opportunity in the middle of the order for Toronto, but we'd like to see him back at the top to give him more at-bats to boost his overall numbers.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
