4 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (quadriceps) has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 3. The veteran had an MRI on Wednesday to determine the severity of the lingering strain in his right quad. Although the injury doesn't appear to be too serious, it is bad enough to keep him out of the lineup for the next week or so. Springer has struggled this season, so hopefully, he will pick things up for fantasy managers upon his return.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
